Sideband Fray
Spectral wavetable · mrxyzfwa
Play it on your computer keyboard: A–K (white keys), W E T Y U (black keys), Z/X octave down/up.
A metallic, inharmonic shimmer whose overtones clash and beat against each other, giving a gritty, digital edge without much low-end weight. The character stays fairly consistent across the range, so it reads as a continuous, agitated wash — good for layering grit into a mix or driving glitchy transitions.
