About these wavetables
Pads are where wavetables shine: a slow sweep through the table turns one chord into a moving texture. These tables change smoothly across their frames and sound good held for seconds. In Serum or Vital, put a slow LFO (0.05–0.3 Hz) on the wavetable position, use a long attack and release, add unison with wide detune and a generous reverb. Low-pass the top end if the pad competes with vocals.
