Spasmodic Stringwash
Digital wavetable · cpdjstjn
Play it on your computer keyboard: A–K (white keys), W E T Y U (black keys), Z/X octave down/up.
A reed-thin bowed tone whose pitch holds steady while the timbre leaps between neighbouring frames, producing a nervous, fast-paced wobble. Early frames stay plain and buzzy; later ones thicken with upper partials and a phaser-like swirl, giving a metallic, glitchy texture that suits transitions.
