Early frames deliver a full-bodied square-ish digital tone with a soft growl; as the frames advance, added sidebands pile into the upper mids, turning the tone brighter, buzzier and slightly metallic without ever becoming noisy. Pitch stays locked throughout, so it reads as a stable lead voice with plenty of edge.
