Mangled Modulator
Digital wavetable · ftv835eu
Play it on your computer keyboard: A–K (white keys), W E T Y U (black keys), Z/X octave down/up.
A steady pitched core holds its note while the upper harmonics crack and stutter from moment to moment, giving a broken, digital rasp over a solid tone. Sweeping the position flickers between rough, distorted versions of the same pitch, handy for glitchy transitions and noisy background layers.
