Inharmonic Ring Cluster
Spectral wavetable · 54wctdym
Play it on your computer keyboard: A–K (white keys), W E T Y U (black keys), Z/X octave down/up.
A pitchless tangle of high ringing partials, the product of ring modulation, with no clear fundamental to anchor it. Moving through the frames shifts the metallic beating and cluster density, gradually closing the sound down into a tighter, harsher shriek.
